2. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments are subject to availability and confirmed upon booking.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice by phone or email.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments without notice, may be charged a cancellation fee. This fee must be settled before your next appointment can be booked.
  • Brentford Health & Dental reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments where necessary. Where this occurs, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment at the earliest available time.
  • We offer same-day appointments for dental emergencies and hygiene treatments, subject to availability. Same-day slots cannot be guaranteed.

3. Consent and Patient Age

  • By booking an appointment, you confirm you are aged 18 or over, or that a parent or legal guardian is booking on your behalf and has provided consent.
  • Written consent will be obtained before any examination, treatment, or procedure begins.
  • You have the right to withdraw consent at any time before or during treatment, without it affecting the standard of care you receive.
  • For patients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at all appointments unless otherwise agreed with the practice in advance.

4. Treatment Plans

  • Following your consultation, we may recommend a personalised treatment plan tailored to your dental needs and goals.
  • You are under no obligation to proceed with any recommended treatment.
  • All costs, risks, benefits, and alternative options will be clearly explained before any treatment begins.
  • Treatment plans are valid for 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, a reassessment may be required as your dental condition may have changed.
  • Prices quoted in your treatment plan are subject to change if your clinical needs change during the course of treatment.

5. Payment

  • Payment for services is required at the time of treatment unless a payment plan has been agreed in advance.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
  • For larger treatments, flexible payment plans may be available subject to eligibility and approval. Please speak to our team before your appointment to discuss options.
  • All prices are as listed on our current pricing page at brentfordhealthdental.co.uk/pricing-plan. Prices are subject to change — the price applicable to your treatment will be confirmed in your treatment plan.
  • Outstanding balances must be settled within 30 days of treatment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Insurance

  • Brentford Health & Dental is both private and NHS dental practice. We do not bill insurance providers directly.
  • We do not guarantee coverage or reimbursement by your dental insurance provider.
  • You are responsible for checking your insurance benefits, policy terms, and excess amounts before proceeding with treatment.
  • Upon request, we can provide an itemised receipt or treatment summary to support any insurance claim you wish to make.

7. Complaints

We are committed to providing the highest standard of dental care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or experience at our practice, we want to hear from you.

Step 1 — Contact us directly: Please raise your concern with our practice manager in the first instance, either in person, by phone on 020 8560 5351, or by email at info@brentfordhealthdental.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days.

Step 2 — External escalation: If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact:

9. Liability

We take every care to deliver safe, effective, and professional dental treatment. However:

  • No dental treatment can be guaranteed to achieve a specific outcome, as results may vary depending on individual patient factors.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brentford Health & Dental excludes liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses not reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking.
  • Our total liability to you in connection with any treatment shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific treatment.

10. Changes to Services

Brentford Health & Dental reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time. Where a change materially affects a booked or paid-for appointment, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer either an alternative appointment or a full refund where applicable.
